What to Expect in Sessions

Therapy doesn’t follow a formula—but here is what you can generally expect as we begin working together:

Session One – Building the Relationship

Our first session is all about connection and comfort. We’ll go through your intake paperwork together, and answer any questions. If you have goals in mind, we’ll begin outlining them. If not, that’s completely okay—our first conversations can be more about understanding who you are, your story, and what’s bringing you in.

Sessions Two & Three – Getting to Know You

In these early sessions, we’ll continue to explore your background, current experiences, and what you’re hoping for in therapy. We begin to identify areas you may want to dig into further.

Ongoing Sessions – Exploring Through Curiosity

As themes begin to emerge, we’ll start exploring them together, using various therapeutic modalities based on what fits best for you. Whether that’s a psychodynamic lens to understand deeper patterns, mindfulness to stay grounded, or other tools, the approach is always adaptable. We’re here to support your curiosity and deepen your insight. You guide the journey; we help make sense of the path.
